Minister Hopes WWF in Bali Can Increase Awareness of Protecting Water

Bali – Transportation Minister Budi Karya Sumadi hopes that awareness of protecting water resources can increase in order to encourage environmental preservation and sustainable water management.
“Water is part of the community's right to life and water is increasingly limited. I hope we can anticipate the resources we have, we must protect and take good care of them,” the Minister emphasized in a statement on the sidelines of the 10th World Water Forum (WWF) 2024 event in Bali on Monday.
Minister Sumadi hopes that awareness in protecting water resources can increase.
Meanwhile, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) in his remarks at the opening ceremony said that the 10th WWF is a strategic step to take concrete action and joint commitment in realizing integrated water resources management.
According to the President, water isn't just a product of nature, but a product of collaboration that connects and unites.
“Preserving water is our shared responsibility,” the Head of State said.
As information, Indonesia is hosting the 10th World Water Forum (WWF) in Bali from May 18-25, 2024.
