Tangerang – Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) released its newest premium sport utility vehicle (SUV) model, namely the Palisade XRT. It comes in all-black.
This premium car has the latest updates on the exterior body kit, side skirts, roof rails, the addition of the XRT emblem on the trunk door, and all-black rims.
Not only the rims, but the entire body also appears to be dominated by glossy black. This is done to make the car look more masculine and also because the Indonesian market tends to prefer black cars.
Head of Product and Corporate Strategy of HIMD, Wahyu Kusuma Danny said that the launch of the Hyundai Palisade XRT is expected to fulfill the wishes of Indonesian consumers.

“Currently, the trend of premium SUVs in Indonesia is quite diverse. We see that consumers tend to like black, so we present Palisade XRT in the country,” Danny said at PIK 2, Tangerang.
Although dominated by black on the exterior, the inside of the Palisade XRT, especially the seats, are wrapped in brick red which makes this car look elegant.
This SUV is still equipped with a 12.3-inch TFT Color Touch Display Audio with a digital display.
Regarding the race kitchen, the Hyundai Palisade XRT uses a 2,199cc CRDI inline 4-cylinder diesel engine with e-VGT mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The engine configuration makes the car capable of producing 197 hp of power and 440 Nm of torque.
