Judo Athlete Maryam March Maharani Qualifies for 2024 Paris Olympics

Jakarta – Indonesian female judo athlete, Maryam March Maharani, successfully qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics on Tuesday (June 25).
The National Olympic Committee (NOC) Indonesia stated that Maryam March Maharani secured her ticket to the Olympics through the quota pathway.
"Based on an official letter sent by the International Judo Federation (IJF) to NOC Indonesia, judo athlete Maryam March Maharani successfully qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympics through the Asian continental quota qualification in the Women's -52kg category," wrote NOC Indonesia on Instagram.
Maryam becomes the 27th Indonesian athlete who will compete in the Paris Olympics from July 26 to August 11, 2024, and is the first judo athlete in the Indonesian contingent.
Before Maryam, Indonesian sprinter Lalu Muhammad Zohri was the 26th athlete to qualify for the Paris 2024 Olympics. Zohri was declared qualified after securing a Universality Place.
It was officially announced by NOC Indonesia on Tuesday (June 25). “Lalu Muhammad Zohri has qualified to represent Indonesia in the Paris 2024 Olympics in the Men's 100m athletics event through the Universality Place allocation.
This marks Zohri's second appearance in the Olympics after Tokyo 2020,” wrote NOC Indonesia.
