However, Fu said that his biodiesel plant in Bangka will use palm oil waste (POME) from CPO factories to produce biodiesel, and the price of this palm oil is much cheaper than the processed kind.
"Additionally, we use many more advanced technology from China to further reduce production costs," he said.
He added, "Therefore, it is estimated that our B100 will have a price advantage compared to existing biodiesel,"
Moreover, Fu mentioned that using B100 could help reduce crude oil imports, and palm oil is a renewable resource.
"Thus, B100 is a renewable energy source that benefits our future energy security."
Fu is confident that the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming administration will support the B100 program.
He especially believes that using B100 can save the country IDR 309 trillion.
"I'm very confident (the future government will support it) because Prabowo has stated on various occasions that he has a savings program of up to IDR 309 trillion," he concluded.
