President Prabowo Ready to Deploy Peacekeeping Forces to Palestine

Brazil, VIVA – Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto stated that Indonesia is ready to send peacekeeping forces to address the conflict in Palestine.
This was conveyed by Prabowo during a bilateral meeting with the Secretary-General of the United Nations (UN) at the Hilton Rio de Janeiro Copacabana Hotel in Brazil on Sunday (Nov 17).
"If there is a possibility of a ceasefire and a need for peacekeeping forces, as mandated internationally, we are ready to provide those forces," said Prabowo during the meeting, which was broadcasted on the Presidential Secretariat's YouTube channel.

The head of state also emphasized that Indonesia is committed to supporting all UN efforts to maintain stability and peace.
He expressed his deep respect for the UN's consistency in upholding justice and international law.
"This is truly encouraging for us because you are consistent in this matter," the president said.
Not only focused on peace, Indonesia is also pleased with the UN's attention to issues such as climate change and food security.
"Your stance on many issues that are of concern in the current situation, particularly on food security, poverty, human rights violations against international law, especially in Palestine," President Prabowo concluded.
