LRT Jabodebek Offers Rp10,000 Maximum Fare for Two Days

Jakarta, VIVA – The LRT Jabodebek will offer special fares on December 25 and 26, 2024, to celebrate the Christmas holiday, starting from IDR 5,000 and capped at a maximum of IDR 10,000.
LRT Jabodebek Public Relations Manager, Mahendro Trang Bawono, confirmed that during this period, they will operate 270 trips to support the mobility of people looking to visit various attractions in the Jabodebek area.
“For example, destinations like recreational parks, shopping centers, or simply enjoying the view of Jakarta,” Bawono said in a statement on Monday (Dec 23).

With affordable fares and a high frequency of trips, the LRT Jabodebek is confident in its ability to serve those wanting to enjoy an exciting Christmas holiday.
“On December 25 and 26, passengers are also allowed to bring non-folding bicycles onboard. However, it should be noted that on these two dates, women-only carriages will not be available,” Bawono added.
He explained that the LRT Jabodebek connects various attractions in the Jabodebek area, including Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), shopping centers, and breathtaking views of Jakarta that can be enjoyed throughout the elevated railway journey.
Moreover, during the 2024 Christmas and New Year (Nataru) transport period, the LRT Jabodebek has successfully served 254,783 passengers (December 19–22, 2024), who relied on the LRT for their travel needs.
This achievement further demonstrates the Jabodebek LRT’s commitment to providing reliable mass transportation for the community.
“The LRT Jabodebek is committed to facilitating the mobility of people who wish to spend their Christmas holidays in Jabodebek. With affordable fares and increased trip frequency, we hope people can enjoy a fun and seamless Nataru holiday with comfortable and safe transportation,” he said.
