Pertamina Activates Crisis Center Team to Evaluate Business Processes

Jakarta, VIVA – Pertamina President Director Simon Aloysius Mantiri announced that the company will conduct a comprehensive evaluation of all its business processes, particularly in the operational sector.
According to Mantiri, this initiative is part of Pertamina’s broader effort to reform itself following a corruption case involving the management of crude oil and refinery products from 2018 to 2023.
To facilitate this process, Pertamina has established a Crisis Center Team, which will thoroughly assess every aspect of the company’s business operations.
"Together with everyone at Pertamina, we remain committed to improving ourselves. We have formed a Crisis Center Team to evaluate all business processes, especially in terms of operations," Mantiri stated on Monday (March 3).
Mantiri also reaffirmed Pertamina's commitment to making significant improvements to ensure better corporate governance in the future.
"As the leader of this company, I will stand at the forefront to ensure that Pertamina continues to be a source of pride and trust for the Indonesian people," he emphasized.
He further added, "On behalf of the entire Pertamina family, I sincerely apologize to all Indonesians."

Earlier, Mantiri had also provided a special phone number that the public can use via WhatsApp to report any irregularities or concerns regarding fuel quality or questionable practices in the field.
"In addition to our call center at 135, I have also shared my personal number: 0814-1708-1945. It currently accepts SMS, and soon it will be registered for WhatsApp use," Mantiri explained.
"This is to ensure that if the public encounters any irregularities or inappropriate situations, whether regarding fuel quality or any improper practices in the field, they can directly report it through this number so that we can take immediate action," he concluded.
