Prabowo Subianto Ensures Direct Allowance Transfer for ASN Teachers

Jakarta, VIVA – Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto has officially introduced a new mechanism for distributing allowances to teachers with the status of Civil Servants (ASN) and Contract-Based Government Employees at the regional level.
Under this new system, ASN and PPPK teachers will receive their allowances directly from the government, deposited straight into their personal bank accounts—eliminating the need for intermediary accounts.
"With the words Bismillahirrahmanirrahim, I, Prabowo Subianto, President of Indonesia, am honored to launch this new mechanism for distributing regional ASN teacher allowances directly to teachers' bank accounts," President Prabowo Subianto declared at the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education of Indonesia on Thursday (March 13).
This initiative is part of President Prabowo Subianto’s strategic efforts to accelerate the implementation of national development priorities and achieve key goals in the education sector.

Earlier, it was known that the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, through the Directorate General of Teachers, Education Personnel, and Teacher Training has remained committed to improving the welfare of teachers across Indonesia.
One of the main steps taken is ensuring that teacher allowance distribution runs smoothly and reaches the right recipients.
The distribution process will be carried out in phases, with the earliest implementation set to begin on March 21, 2025.
