Prabowo Subianto Receives Special Letter from Palestinian President, What’s Inside?

Jakarta, VIVA – Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto welcomed the Special Envoy of Palestinian President, Mahmoud Al Habbash, at the Presidential Palace in Central Jakarta on Tuesday (March 18).
During the meeting, Mahmoud Al Habbash handed over a special letter from Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to Prabowo.
The letter addressed the bilateral relations between Indonesia and Palestine, as well as the current situation in Palestine.
"We have delivered a special letter from President Mahmoud Abbas to the Indonesian President, discussing Indonesia-Palestine relations and the Palestinian issue in general," Mahmoud Al Habbash stated at the Presidential Palace in Central Jakarta.

He added, "Most importantly, it highlights the dire situation in Palestine under Israeli occupation, which, as you know, continues to this day."
Then, he expressed confidence that Indonesia’s support for Palestine’s independence will never waver.
He also believes that the Indonesian people wholeheartedly stand with Palestine.
"We trust Indonesia and its stance on the Palestinian cause. We are certain that the Indonesian government and its people will continue to support Palestine’s freedom and independence," he concluded.
