Muslims are set to observe Eid al-Adha for four days, beginning on Friday.

The celebration also coincides with the Hajj pilgrimage — the fifth pillar of Islam.

Hajj is a religious duty required of every Muslim who is financially and physically able, at least once in their lifetime.

It consists of a series of rituals that symbolize the core tenets of Islamic faith, while also commemorating the profound trials faced by the Prophet Abraham and his family.
