Anindya Bakrie: Dutch Investment of IDR 4.8 Trillion Targeted Solely for Indonesia
- Kadin Indonesia
Jakarta, VIVA – The Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), Anindya Bakrie, revealed that there would be an investment injection of US$300 million or IDR 4.8 trillion for domestic industry players.
This amount comes from 120 Dutch companies that will establish cooperation in three strategic sectors to support government programs.
Bakrie held a closed meeting with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Indonesia, Marc Gerritsen, in Jakarta on Monday (June 9).
The two country delegations discussed issues related to water, maritime affairs, and food production in Indonesia.
The Indonesian government is ambitious to address these three sectors. Meanwhile, the Netherlands is an 'expert' in dealing with issues of water governance, maritime affairs, and food production.

"So there, needs and demands will meet, and Kadin will play a vital role," said Marc Gerritsen in Jakarta on Monday.
He stated that the strategic partnership between the Netherlands and Indonesia is increasingly in sight.
Then he mentioned that the Dutch government would bring 120 companies from the land of windmills to meet with trade partners in Indonesia during an event to be held next week, on June 16, 2025.
This is where Kadin will play a role in bridging industry players to forge strategic partnerships.
This investment from Dutch companies into local industries is not only about addressing the three issues but also about supporting the success of government programs, such as free nutritious meals (MBG) and affordable housing.
