VIVA – Nominasi Academy Awards ke-90 akhirnya resmi diumumkan. The Shape of Water mendominasi daftar dengan masuk ke dalam 13 nominasi. Disusul oleh Dunkirk yang meraih delapan nominasi.
The Shape of Water memang sudah menarik perhatian para pengamat sejak pertama kali rilis akhir tahun 2017 silam. Beberapa kategori unggulan yang diraih film ini antara lain Film Terbaik, Sutradara Terbaik, Aktris Pemeran Utama Terbaik, dan kategori di bidang teknis lainnya.
