VIVAnews - Bank Indonesia (BI) and the Capital Market and Financial Institution Supervisory Agency (Bapepam-LK) finally agreed to outline a scheme of supervision and accessibility to data of bank customers.

The deal is expected to disable issues on authorities that have been obstacles all the time.

The partnership between the two financial monitoring agencies will be attached in an MoU which will be signed today, April 30.

The MoU will lead the central bank Bank Indonesia to watch custodian banks, which have only been under the authority of Bapepam-LK. Otherwise, the capital market supervisory agency will be able to gain access to bank customers' data.
