VIVAnews - Functional Group (Golkar) Party Chairman Aburizal Bakrie and Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono yesterday held a brief on the future of the coalition. However, the meeting concluded Golkar will remain coalescing with the ruling party. Given the situation, political observer Burhanuddin Muhtadi said the Justice and Prosperous Party (PKS) may still be maintained in the coalition.

As far as history is concerned, PKS joined the coalition before Golkar decided to be on the same boat with the ruling party. "The bottomline is that if Golkar stays, PKS may also follow," said Burhan.

On the other hand, Burhan believed future progress of Gerindra will have to depend on how PKS is treated. "Gerindra will be in if PKS is excluded," he said.

Burhan also said cabinet reshuffle will not be carried out by the President. "SBY gives the impression that the President wants to please everyone," he said.
