VIVAnews - Bank Indonesia is looking at the possibility to revise regulations on the founding of foreign bank offices in Indonesia. In the future, branch offices of any foreign banks in Indonesia must be in the form of limited liability company.

Governor of Bank Indonesia, Darmin Nasution, said the review was earlier a result of concerns over possible problems that a bank headquarter may encounter.

"Everything that a bank headquarter experiences may affect its branch offices," said Darmin today.

The new regulation will be issued in no time.
