Garuda Awarded Best International Airline

VIVAnews - Indonesia's flag carrier PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk was declared The Best International Airline by Roy Morgan, an Australian independent international research institution. 

According to VP Corporate Communications of Garuda Indonesia, Pujobroto, the award is based on Roy Morgan’s polls conducted between February 2011 and January 2012 of which 3,943 respondents had taken part. 

“Out of 3,943 international respondents, 91 percent said that they’re very satisfied of Garuda Indonesia’s service,” he said in a press statement in Jakarta, today. 

The respondents have considered Garuda better than Singapore Airlines, Air New Zealand, Emirates, and Cathay Pacific.

To date, in line with Garuda’s ongoing transformation and Quantum Leap programs, the national airline had gained a number of significant achievements, such as Four Star Airline, World's Most Improved Airline by Skytrax, and Airline Turn Around of The Year by Centre for Asia Pacific Airlines (CAPA).
