Denmark to Team Up with RI on Water Sector

VIVAnews - Indonesia teams up with Denmark concerning drinking water sector. The partnership is aimed at answering the demands of development millenium goals (MDGs), said Director General of Human Settlements at the Department of Public Works Budi Yuwono said on Tuesday, May 12.

Danish Ambassador to Indonesia Borge Peterson said on Tuesday, May 12, the partnership between the two countries will be focused on improving drinking water and sanitation services.

Therefore, high-tech solutions in distribution management, energy efficiency in water supply system, pipelining rehabilitation, water quality and water and sanitation resource management are highly required. "The partnership between the two countries are benefiting both parties," he said.
