Assets of Syariah Bank Grow Rp 1 Tln A Month

VIVAnews - Bank Syariah's asset increases by Rp 1 trillion (US$95.56 million) per month. It is expected that the 2009 targeted assets of Rp 65 trillion will be achieved.

Syariah Banking Director Ramzi A Zuhdi in Jakarta on June 19 said that every Rp 1 trillion increase per month will rise financing and third party fund by Rp 1 trillion.

It is recorded until April that Bank Syariah's asset values Rp 52.21 trillion, higher than Dec. 2008 of Rp 49.55 trillion.

Meanwhile, the financing booked Rp 39.19 trillion with non-performing finance (NPF) of 5.17 percent, higher than December 2008 with 3.95 percent.
