VIVAnews - Central Board of Indonesian Islamic organization Nahdlatul Ulama acknowledged that corruptors are powered by extraordinary supremacy.
"They have tremendous power," said the chief of the organization Hasyim Muzadi on Monday, Nov 30.
According to Hasyim, the Indonesian people must firmly stand on the principle that corruption itself must be eradicated instead of only prosecuting the corruptors.
Therefore, he said, several elements must be prepared to enable the needed measures. First of all, it is concerned with how the law is returned to justice.
"Legal formal law may not lead to justice, as we can observe today. Those who are supposed to be punished are let go while the innocent be the subject of investigation," he said.
Hasyim also said the public should also participate in the corruption eradication aiming at avoiding the state from being impaired.
"Every turmoil brings its own matters," he said.
