In A Cabin With (IACW) is an international project that invites musicians for recording a cd in a unique location somewhere in the world. Examples of previous projects are recordings in New York, Brasilia and in a slaughterhouse in Casablanca, Morocco. Also in Indonesia it is a collaboration between local en Dutch musicians who never collaborated with each other before. The main goal of IACW is to learn from each other and play music together. Every two months this project takes place. At an inspiring spot somewhere in the world an entire album is being produced and recorded on site. The variety of the compositions of the musicians provide music for various kind of music like modern jazz, concerts with a twist, mix of electro and hip-hop. We are anxious at the final result for Indonesia. Come and listen live at the Erasmus Huis on 17th February at a free concert. The project In A Cabin With started in 2005 as an initiative by Maarten Besseling, who invited his good friend and producer Jesse Beuker to join the team in 2008.Other projects.
