VIVAnews - Police found bombs planted under the house which was once occupied by the mastermind of alleged mail bombing Pepi Fernando in Aceh. In addition, other suspicious items were spotted on the house.
The findings were resulted from a raid conducted by antiterror police squad last night. One of the evidence is a piggy bank which contains gunpowder at three kilograms of weight.
The raid was helmed by Chief of Aceh Special Detachment, Adj. Chief. Comm. Sutri Hamdani. He however refused to give comments over the roundup.
As reported earlier, Pepi was apprehended in Merduati, Aceh, on Thursday, April 21. Police picked up two men initialed J and F as well. The man initialed J was set to become a bomber in the next terrorist action.
