VIVAnews - Jakarta and other cities across Indonesia have a promising prospect on hotel industry as occupancy rates grow significantly well following the stable economy.
"Within the past five years, many hotels of all levels have seen positive growth in terms of average daily rates and income per available room," said Cushman & Wakefield Research & Advisory Head of Department, Arief Rahardjo, today.
Arief said the positive sign has been apparent on three-star hotels in Jakarta.
The mean hotel rate growth in the first half of 2011 hits 17.5 percent, while the income rate per available room rises 26.1 percent compared to the same period of 2010.
Meanwhile, hotels' occupancy rate in the first half of 2011 touches 70.5 percent.
However, Arief said room rates may decrease due to high demand on rooms between 2012 and 2015.
