VIVAnews - PT MRT is instructed to prepare construction work during the postponement of the bid on Stage I construction engineering for Lebak Bulus - Bundaran HI route.
Jakarta governor, Fauzi Bowo, said the preparation should have been put into force by April 2012 at the latest.
“The bid will be made possible by September 2012 following the contract deal,” said Fauzi Bowo today, Dec 15.
PT MRT must expand roads and make up fine traffic management strategy.
It is expected that during Stage I construction, the traffic from Lebak Bulus to Bundaran HI would be congested.
The steps are important as, provided the previous work, sewer works along Jalan Sudirman alone could cause traffic jam in Jakarta. Moreover, traffic design is greatly required to adjust MRT operational routes with Transjakarta bus operational routes.
Other obstacles include the utility network and land subsidence along Lebak Bulus to Bundaran HI area. PT MRT targets the repositioning of the utility network will be completed by March 2012.
In this Stage I construction, PT MRT Jakarta will have three on-surface construction physical packages and three underground physical packages.
The three on-surface construction physical packages are cp 101 from Depo Lebak Bulus to Fatmawati. The second package is cp 102 from Blok M to Al-Azhar, and the third is cp 103 from Patung Pemuda to Senayan.
Meanwhile for the underground physical packages, there are: cp 104 from Senayan to Istora, The second package is cp 105 from Setiabudi to Bendungan Hilir, and the third is cp 106 from Dukuh Atas to Bundaran HI.
