VIVAnews - Two more workers of mining company Freeport Indonesia in Timika, Papua, were shot to death by unidentified perpetrators on Thursday, Feb 9, at around 8.10 PM local time.
The fatal shooting took place as a car belonging to village head carrying six passengers which were heading toward Timika was targeted a series of shootings.
The two dead passengers were workers at CV Yawapu, Freeport's subcontractors, under the names of Seberius Yemiro and Petrus Tomoka.
Spokesperson of Papua police, Chief. Comm. Wachyono and spokesperson of Freeport, Ramdani Sirait, are reluctant to provide information on the incident.
