VIVAnews – A member of the House of Representatives’ Budget Committee from Golkar Party faction, Bambang Soesatyo, urged the Indonesian Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) to be audacious in revealing its findings and analysis of 2,000 abnormal transactions in the House, especially in the Budget Committee.
“PPATK must disclose the persons indicated with irregular transactions,” said Bambang Soesatyo.
According to Bambang, the exposure is very crucial so that the parties involved can immediately clarify the findings and analysis from PPATK. If the related parties are not able to proof or explain the flows of funds and are not able to fit the profile, then we can proceed with legal actions.
“Further investigation is possible,” said Bambang, who is also a member of Bank Century Special Committee. Bambang thinks that the exposure of 2,000 irregularities in the transactions is required.
“This is important for the legal certainty and good reputation of other Budget Committee members who didn’t do the unlawful act,” said Bambang.
Earlier, PPATK has processed and analyzed more than 2,000 reports of irregular transactions, which mainly targeted DPR Budget Committee. “We have nothing to hide,” said the Chairman of PPATK, Muhammad Yusuf, on Monday, Feb 20.
