As information, the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) issued a fatwa related to the Law and Guidelines for the Implementation of Sacrifice Worship during an Outbreak of Foot and Mouth Disease (PMK). In the fatwa numbered 32 of 2022, there are three laws of the disease, namely legal, invalid and not eligible as sacrificial animals.
In the fatwa, it is stated that animals affected by Foot and Mouth Disease (PMK)Â with mild clinical symptoms are still declared valid as sacrificial animals. The mild category includes mild blisters on the nail gap, lethargy, no appetite and drooling more than usual.
