The Reasons Why Population in China Decrease Extremely

China is known to have a fertility rate of 1.16 percent in 2021, one of the lowest rates in the world and below the 2.1 percent rate that The Organization for Economic Co-Operation and Development assumes necessary for a stable population.

After implementing a one-child policy from 1980 to 2015, China has acknowledged that its population will decrease.

To handle this problem, national and provincial authorities over the past year have introduced measures such as tax breaks, longer maternity leave, improved health insurance, housing subsidies and additional money for a third child to get Beijing people to change their minds and want to have children.
