The story of this YouTube Village in India begins with two friends, Gyanendra Shukla and Jai Verma, who left their jobs as network engineers and teachers, respectively, to create video content.

“I worked at SBI before, as a network engineer. My office has high-speed internet and I used to watch YouTube videos there," Shukla told the news agency, ANI.
“I already love movies. In 2011-12, a new version of YouTube was launched. At that time, there were very few channels on youtube. I am not satisfied with my 9 to 5 job. So I left my job and started with YouTube." he added as launching from the Odditycentral page.
Around 40 percent of the villagers are now involved in creating video content for platforms like YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram-based channels ranging from comedy and music to education and DIY, with the most popular numbering over 100,000 subscribers on YouTube.
For now, many residents work full-time content, while some claim to earn two or three times their previous salary.
