VIVA – As Ramadan is getting closer, Muslims will fast for 30 days. However, while doing this, some people experience acid reflux or GERD. This is caused by for almost a day, our stomachs will be empty. In another word, GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) occurs when stomach acid flows back into the esophagus, causing symptoms such as heartburn, regurgitation, and difficulty swallowing.
