VIVA – Mount Everest is the highest mountain in the world located in Nepal and has an altitude of 8,849 MDPL. "We heard loud explosive sounds, we saw that the glacier was cracking every night and emitting mysterious sounds like explosions," glaciologist Evgeny Podolskiy explained in a statement at the time.
