VIVA – On the first day of the 42nd ASEAN Summit, Indonesian President Joko Widodo will lead five meetings taking place at Meruorah Hotel, Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara.
The meetings include the Opening and Plenary Session of the 42nd ASEAN Summit and the ASEAN Ministerial Meeting with Representatives of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA).
Also, there are ASEAN Ministerial Meetings with Representatives of ASEAN Youth, ASEAN Ministerial Meetings with Representatives of the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC), and ASEAN Ministerial Meetings with the High-Level Task Force on ASEAN Community's Post-2025 Vision (HLTF-ACV).
The five series of ASEAN Summit meetings will be closed directly by President Joko Widodo in the evening. Coinciding with the Welcoming Dinner activities at Ayana Komodo Waecicu Beach.

"The entire series of summit events tomorrow (Wednesday) will be closed insha'Allah with a dinner event," Minister of Foreign Affairs, Retno Marsudi informed.
Then, on Thursday, President Widodo will lead the Retreat Session and the Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT) Summit.
Meanwhile, the Brunei-Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines East ASEAN Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA) meeting will be chaired by Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim as the BIMP-EAGA chairmanship is currently held by Malaysia.
"On May 11, there will be three meetings, two of which will be chaired by the President," the Minister said.
