Gaza – The humanitarian volunteer organization Medical Rescue Committee (MER-C) has announced that it has successfully communicated with three Indonesian citizen volunteers in Gaza, on Wednesday. This was conveyed by MER-C Presidium Chairman Sarbini Abdul Murad in a press conference in Central Jakarta.
"We want to clarify that around 5:30 p.m. local time, we received contact from our contact source, and we were also able to communicate with the volunteers and one of them was Reza, and we asked how he was doing," Murad informed.

So far, there have been three Indonesian citizens who chose to stay in Gaza to carry out humanitarian missions at the Indonesian Hospital in Gaza.
The three volunteers are Fikri Rofiul Haq, Reza Aldilla Kurniawan, and Farid Zanzabil Al Ayubi.
Murad appeared after news circulated that two Indonesian volunteers were arrested by IDF troops at the Indonesian Hospital, while one other volunteer is still unknown.
On the same occasion, Murad also conveyed the current condition of the three Indonesian volunteers, "They are healthy and safe,"
"This information makes us happy because after 11 days we have not (received) information. So, it was a happy day for us because we could hear their voice,"

Furthermore, Murad said that the three Indonesians are being prepared to be evacuated to southern Gaza. It is likely that they will be taken to Nasser Hospital or Hospital in Rafah.
As information, the Indonesian Hospital had become a boiling point in the conflict between Israel and Hamas. The IDF attacked the Indonesian medical facility, killing 12 people.
Israel also gave an ultimatum to vacate the hospital within 4 hours.
