Jakarta – Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) will use a dynamic pricing scheme for the Whoosh ticket, starting from the trip on February 3, 2024 departure.
Eva Chairunisa, KCIC General Manager Corporate Secretary Eva Chairunisa said that the implementation of a dynamic fare scheme allows passengers to get Whoosh Ticket at cheaper prices when traveling at certain times.
"In this new scheme, in one day there may be several different rates for Whoosh travel," Chairunisa said in a statement on Monday.
Chairunisa explained several factors that influence the determination of dynamic rates, including peak hours or non-peak hours, holiday or non-holiday moments, and weekdays. or weekends.

She added that during peak hours higher fares will be offered, whereas during off-peak hours cheaper fares will be offered.
"Passengers are given travel alternatives with different fares according to their needs, desires and purchasing power,"
She informed that the tariffs that would be applied later for the premium economy class would range from IDR150,000, IDR175,000, IDR200,000, IDR225,000, to IDR250,000.
According to her, this dynamic tariff would provide added value for passengers. It's hoped that price flexibility will provide better benefits to the community.
"The implementation of these dynamic fares will continue to be monitored and evaluated so that they can continue to suit passenger needs and Whoosh operations," she explained.
People who want to use Whoosh can make orders through official channels such as the Whoosh application, the ticket.kcic.co.id site, Ticket Vending Machines, and official counters at stations as well as partner applications such as Access by KAI, Livin by Mandiri, BRImo, and BNI Mobile Banking.
As of January 27, 2024, as many as 1.4 million people will use the Whoosh Fast Train to carry out mobility from Jakarta to Bandung and vice versa. Currently, the average occupancy ranges from around 60 to 80 percent.
