Bank Indonesia Distributes Scholarship Program to 305 Students

Jakarta – Bank Indonesia has once again distributed scholarships to 305 recipients of the Generasi Baru Indonesia (GenBI) program for the year 2024.
The GenBI scholarship recipients consist of 275 college students and 30 vocational high school students.
The scholarships will be disbursed in two stages: IDR 1,000,000 per month for 12 months to college students and Rp750,000 per month for 12 months to Vocational high school students.
The Bank Indonesia Scholarship Distribution and GenBI 2024 First Meeting was held at the Bank Indonesia Bali Provincial Representative Office on Tuesday (April 2).
The Secretary of the Bali Provincial Government, Dewa Made Indra stated that Bank Indonesia (BI) Representative Office in Bali is actively involved in human resource development in Bali.
"Not only in the economic field, but also giving significant attention to the education sector and providing assurance to the recipients to continue their education," Indra explained.
According to him, the education sector is a crucial factor in building quality human resources that are capable of competing. He hoped that the scholarship recipients would make the best use of the program.
"To those who have received scholarships, make the most of this opportunity so that you can succeed," he stated.
Also present at the event were member of the Indonesian House of Representatives Commission XI, I Gusti Agung Rai Wirajaya, Head of the Bank Indonesia Bali Provincial Representative Office, Erwin Soeriadimadja, as well as the Rectors or their representatives from Udayana University, Warmadewa University, University.
