Key subsectors driving this growth include culinary, fashion, handicrafts, and others, which have made a significant contribution to the national GDP, created more than 20 million jobs, and strengthened Indonesia's position in global exports.

Furthermore, the minister said that the global shift towards digitalization and innovation has also created new opportunities for the creative sector in Indonesia, including film, music, animation, gaming, fashion, and digital arts.

The emergence of technologies like artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and blockchain is transforming how creative content is produced, distributed, and consumed.

"Indonesia must seize this moment by optimizing these technological advancements and integrating them into the creative industry," he remarked.

Indonesia’s vast cultural diversity is another strength that can push its creative industry to higher levels and make an impact on the global stage.

Minister Hartarto revealed that by leveraging Indonesia's unique cultural assets and combining them with modern technology, the country has the opportunity to develop world-class creative products and services that can be globally accepted.

He then emphasized that to optimize the potential of the creative industry, it is not only about encouraging creativity but also requires strong collaboration between the government, the private sector, and educational institutions.

Such collaboration is crucial in building a creative ecosystem that not only contributes to Indonesia's economic development but also promotes Indonesian culture and creativity on the global stage.

"By connecting industry players with investors, policymakers, and thought leaders, we can accelerate the growth of the creative economy and position Indonesia as a global innovation hub," the minister concluded.
