VIVAnews - West Nusa Tenggara Governor M. Zainul Majdi launched a one-stop integrated service for Indonesian workers in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) province.

The system is implemented at the former office of NTB Manpower and Transportation Agency on Jalan Udayana, Mataram.

"The launching is a new year's present for Indonesian migrant workers. Hopefully, the system can facilitate Indonesian migrant workers in preparing the proper documents to go abroad," said the governor when inaugurating the system.

The system will indirectly help Indonesian migrant workers to avoid middle-men. The documents can be prepared in one spot.

The establishment of the one-stop integrated system is a momentum to encourage other regions in Indonesia to launch the system.

"With the availability of this system the Indonesian migrant workers must work harder and not create too many problems," he said.

The system will enable Indonesian migrant workers to apply for passports fast, secure and free from bureaucratic problems.

In addition, they can also prepare fiscal frees: foreign work permit, payment of management fee for Indonesian migrant workers, and so on.

"I hope that this new system can minimize problems faced by Indonesian migrant workers. At this time many Indonesian migrant workers from West Nusa Tenggara are working in foreign countries such as Malaysia, Hongkong and Saudi," he said.
