Jakarta – Australia is one of the countries with best universities in the world, according to the QS World University Rankings.

Some examples of these top-notch campuses include the University of Melbourne, the University of New South Wales (UNSW Sydney), the University of Sydney, and the Australian National University.

It's no wonder that many Indonesians choose Australian campuses to further their education.

A survey by Goodstats indicates that Australia remains attractive to Indonesians seeking to study abroad. 40 percent of respondents expressed their desire to study in the Land Down Under.

The United States is the second country they choose to pursue their education.

The survey shows that 40 percent of participants opt to study in Uncle Sam's land. This is quite reasonable as the United States boasts many renowned universities offering top-notch education.

Such as Harvard University, Yale University, Princeton University, Columbia University, Brown University, Cornell University, Dartmouth College, and the University of Pennsylvania.

Countries in Europe besides Australia and the United States also attract the attention of Indonesian society in terms of education.

A Goodstats survey indicates that countries such as the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Germany are also chosen to further their education.

Moreover, Goodstats also reveals that Singapore, Japan, Malaysia, and Egypt are the top five countries in Asia most preferred by Indonesians for studying.

Indonesians particularly favor education in Singapore because this country ranks fourth with 23 percent, surpassing the Netherlands and Germany.

Japan is the second most favored country in Asia by Indonesians for schooling due to the quality of its education. The Land of the Rising Sun represents 13 percent of survey participants.
