VIVAnews - Losses from the oil spill of Montara, which is under the supervision of PT TEP of Australia, are quite high. According to the estimate received by Minister of Transportation, Freddy Numberi, the amount is around Rp 10 trillion.

Freddy guarantees that such a figure has been carefully measured because a team is assigned to look into the case. "They [the team] can verify on-field data," he said.
 
As reported, Minister of Transportation Freddy Numberi has received the estimates over the value of losses from the Montara oil spill on Timor Sea, August 18.
 
"The team reported about the latest data on Wednesday evening," said Freddy.

Earlier, Freddy claimed that the said estimates include material and immaterial losses. "It's not merely Rp 300 billion, as I have said earlier," said Freddy.
 
According to Freddy, the report will have detailed form. He in fact exposed that the losses have also calculated the damages inflicted to the environment and people.
 
Freddy cited people can no longer make use of the Timor Sea, East Nusa Tenggara, for 10 years.

"The company demands verified data," he said.
