Only 20 years old, Dutch singer Tim Knol is already becoming an international star. After a successful launch in the Netherlands his debut album was also released in Great-Britain, 2010. Now he’s coming to Indonesia to give three concerts and, most expectedly, gain more fans.
Tim has music running through his veins and he is supported by a multisided band. Also in live performances he is convincing. Musical observers turned lyrical about the performance at the grand hall of Paradiso, Amsterdam: “In a strikingly solid rock show he managed to bring the whole hall at his feet (…). Because of the enthusiasm of the band and the front man Knol, it was a celebration to watch”. Therefore all the important festivals have Tim Knol announced on their posters.
Tim Knol grew up with a nearly ancient disc collection. Whether you describe his music as roots, sixties or seventies rock, in all of it you will hear his love for old-time heroes. Whether you think about Graham Parsons, Neil Young or more recently Wilco: traditional rock guitar for a wide public, but not directly written for the hit parades. Timeless songs with a raw edge and the unbelievable voice of a boy from the city Hoorn who makes music wherein the best of the present and past come together. New songs are popping up now and then in the live shows, and they are promising more of the good. Tim Knol is not finished yet by far.
