VIVAnews - Police searched the house of the late Rasim, father of a terrorist suspect Mushola who was arrested in Slawi, Central Java. Mushola is the suspect of suicide bombing terrorist cell which earlier targeted a police compound in Cirebon, West Java.
During the raid that ended around 5.00 PM, police did not find any explosives. However, police confiscated 3 water bottles containing marbles, motorbike rims, documents belonging to Jama’ah Ansharut Tauhid (JAT) cells, books and magazines on jihad, piece of VCD labeled "aman" (literally means secure), 3 bottles of chemical liquid, and several gadgets.
Crime lab officers of the National Police and the Indonesia Automatic Fingerprints Identification System (INAFIS) picked up the evidence to Cirebon Police Department.
“After a thorough search, we didn’t find any explosives on the scene,” said Cirebon Chief of Crime and Investigation Division, Adj. Comm. Agah Sonjaya on Tuesday.
The raid was launched by a joint team involving the Antiterror force Special Detachment 88, INAFIS, Sumber police, Cirebon police, and the anti-bomb squad Detachment C of West Java Police.
