VIVAnews – Three persons were injured from a mysterious shootings that took place in Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam. One victim is in critical condition. They have been evacuated from the scene.
“We have evacuated them to Sibreh Police Station for security purposes,” said Imam Taufik (20), the victims’ co-worker in a discussion with VIVAnews.
Three of Imam’s co-workers were victims of shootings by unknown men last night at around 7.05 p.m., Thursday, Jan 5. As the shooting occurred, the victims were resting in their 4-bedroom barrack in Simpang Aneuk Galoeng, Suka Makmur District, Aceh Besar.
Out of a sudden, some unknown men aimed fire at them. “I was having a rest in the other room when the shootings happened,” Imam said.
The victims were Gunoko (30), Agus Swetnyo (35) and Sotiku Anas (25). “The gunshots were heard between four and five times.”
All victims were construction workers from Semarang, Central Java. They just started work in Aceh for 21 days.
Earlier, Chief of Aceh Police Public Relations Division, Adj. Chief. Comm. Gustav Leo, acknowledged of the shootings.
“There were 3 victims. One person was shot in the head, another in the chest and another one in the shoulder,” said Gustav Leo in a short message to VIVAnews.
