Jakarta – In the inauguration of the truck product name change on Monday, Hino Indonesia also announced to the public that they have successfully obtained the Domestic Component Level (TKDN) certificate for 10 types of products.
The ten products include; Hino 300 - 115 SD, Hino 300 - 136 MDL, Hino 300 - 136 HD, Hino 300 - 136 HDX, Hino 300/Microbus 115 SDB, Hino 300/Microbus 115 SDBL, Hino Bus GB 150 MT, Hino Bus GB 150 L AT, Hino 500 FG 260 JJ, and Hino 500 FM 280 JD with a total TKDN value and Weighted Benefit (BMP) of more than 40%.
With the TKDN value, it can be said that the Hino vehicle/chassis is a Domestic Product. This makes Hino the first and only commercial vehicle brand to get this prestigious certification.
The direction of Indonesian President Joko Widodo is that the State Budget (APBN) and Regional Budget (APBD) must be spent on domestic products and not imported goods, and for that Hino is here to meet these needs.
The Domestic Component Level Certificate is a form of Hino's commitment to the use of domestically made components supplied by more than 150 local partners in producing Hino vehicles.
To obtain this certificate, Hino underwent a heavy certification process conducted by Surveyor Indonesia (Persero) supervised by the Ministry of Industry.
The process involved a thorough assessment of Hino's production facilities, supply chain, and locally produced components.
COO Director of Hino Motors Sales Indonesia (HMSI), Santiko Wardoyo said that Hino has a factory in Indonesia by investing, locating, and producing in Indonesia. This proves Hino is the leading commercial vehicle manufacturer in Indonesia.
"By being made in the country consumers do not need to worry about the availability and ease of Hino after-sales service," Wardoyo said at the Hino MT Haryono Office, Jakarta, Monday.
He also said: "We would like to thank the Ministry of Industry for recognizing our commitment to local production."
This achievement is a testament to Hino's hard work and dedication to help build the economy in Indonesia through increased use of domestic production, increasing employment opportunities both directly, and indirectly through all our suppliers involved in the production process, according to Wardoyo.
