No Indonesian Victims in Philadelphia Mass Shooting, Ministry Says

United States – The Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemenlu) has confirmed that no Indonesian citizens were victims in the mass shooting in Philadelphia, United States, on Wednesday (Apr 10).
"So far, there are no Indonesian casualties from the incident," said the Director of Indonesian Citizen Protection and Legal Entity at the MoFA, Judha Nugraha.
This information was obtained by the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia (KJRI) in New York, whose accreditation covers Philadelphia, after coordinating with local authorities and the Indonesian community in the city.
Based on self-reporting data from KJRI New York, there are approximately 5,000 Indonesian citizens in Philadelphia. The majority of Indonesians reside in South Philadelphia, while the shooting incident occurred in West Philadelphia.

Earlier reported the happiness celebration of Eid al-Fitr in Clara Muhammad Square, Philadelphia, United States (US), suddenly turned into panic after a shootout erupted between rival groups.
The Philadelphia police stated that the Eid al-Fitr event held outside the large mosque in the Parkside neighborhood of the city was abruptly halted when around 30 shots were heard on Wednesday (Apr 10).
In this incident, authorities said that five individuals were detained, including a 15-year-old boy.
Police stated that the boy was carrying a pistol and was taken to the hospital after being shot in the leg and shoulder by police.
Moreover, police informed that a man was shot in the stomach, and a teenager suffered injuries to the hand.
