Many researchers have tried to solve the mysteries of these areas but until now there has been no scientific explanation for why these areas have a mystery.

The most mysterious regions in the world are always interesting to be discussed to fulfill human curiosity because they have different backgrounds ranging from history, and folklore, to legends.

Lake Hillier is located beside the Pacific Ocean on the Central Island of Australia. The color of the water in this lake is unique. Lake Hillier has pink water characteristics, so its presence is striking amid the blue color of the seawater and the green of the surrounding trees.

Unfortunately, the pink color of Lake Hillier is still uncertain. Several theories circulated explaining that the color of this lake was created due to the presence of the organism Dunaliella Salina.

2. Bermuda Triangle

The Bermuda Triangle is a mysterious place known as the Devil's Triangle because it has swallowed hundreds of ships and planes. One theory is that there were waves that were strong enough to destroy ships in the area until they disappeared without a trace.

However, the existence of this theory is not enough to explain why ships flying in the area cannot be found anywhere despite a search. The mystery makes the Bermuda Triangle still a mysterious place that confuses many people to this day.

It’s estimated, that more than a hundred bodies are found in the forest every year. However, there are still many who do not know why this location was chosen as a place to end life.

However, behind the dark mystery, many tourists choose this place as a hiking location.

The Crooked Forest is a site that stores hundreds of trees with a unique shape resembling an inverted question mark. Uniquely, the trees there bend in the same direction which adds to the strangeness of the place.

Although many things have been linked to the cause of this unique phenomenon, the real reason has not yet been discovered.

5. Blood Falls

Blood Falls is located in Antarctica. The sight of the blood-like water is salt water that spills out of the ice, which then flows into Lake Bonney. The blood-red color of Blood Falls is associated with the iron oxide contained in the water.

6. Salar de Uyuni

Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia is claiming to be the largest salt flat in the world. Its extreme dryness and bright blue skies help create a mirror-like reflective surface.

In the dry season, the plains will decorate with an attractive pattern of polygonal cracks that look like floor tiles, making it one of the most beautiful places on Earth.

7. Plain of Jars

The Plain of Jars in Laos is one of the most mysterious places in the world. People will find around two thousand large ancient jars scattered on the plateau. Archaeologists estimate the jars to be 2,000 years.
