VIVAnews - Telecommunication tower installation and maintenance company PT Katarina Utama is awaiting summons from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) to further discuss the initial public offering (IPO) plan of the company's shares.
Katarina Utama Director, Mohd Sopyan Mohd Rashdi, said today, May 4, that the company will only propose the IPO to the Capital Market and Financial Institution Supervisory Agency (Bapepam-LK) after being granted approval by the IDX. He hoped that the company can already list its shares by June at the latest.
Rashdi said the in the first quarter of 2009, the company recorded increase in net profit by 30 percent and income by 10 percent compared to the same period in 2008. Up until late 2009, Katarina is optimistic that the company can achieve profit growth by 30 percent.
