This engine requires 2,300 twin horsepower diesel generators. Similar to its smaller cousins ??especially the 400 tons trucks built by Caterpillar, Bucyrus and Liebherr BelAZ lives and works in large open pit mines.

3.Universal Alloy

Universal Alloy is one of the leading suppliers of structural components to companies, including Boeing, Airbus and defense manufacturers.

This machine is a 75-year-old and 9000-ton extruded aluminum press machine, the most powerful in the world.

The machine generates 16,200 tons of pressure to turn 5,000 bathtub-sized solid metal billets into toothpaste. The machine is nearly 300 feet long and anchored to a 10-foot-thick concrete foundation.

4. Emma Morsk

Emma Morsk is the largest container ship ever built. It sits at 1,302 feet long, weighs 23,000 tons and the engine itself is 89 feet long and 44 feet high.

However, the fuel efficiency is not fantastic, consuming 0.260 lb/hp/house at maximum economy. It is estimated that the engine consumes over 39 barrels/hour and costs an exorbitant $34/minute to run.

5. Komatsu D565A Dozer

Mainly used by mine operators in the US, Canada and Australia, this machine is the largest bulldozer produced and has been in production since 1991. It has a 1,150-horsepower engine and this machine is capable of moving 90 cubic yards/track.

The ever-impressive Liebherr, manufacturer of several colossal cranes, also built one of the largest bucket excavators with the R 9800.

Another machine typically used for mining, the 9800 weighs 1,785,700 pounds and has a bucket capacity of 62 cubic yards.

7. Bagger 293 Bucket Wheel Excavator

Bagger is not only the largest excavator, but also holds the world record for the largest land vehicle ever built.

At 310 feet high and 721 feet long, this 4-year-old German machine can move 100,000 cubic yards of dirt/day using its 20 rotating buckets.

8. NASA Crawler

The 50-year-old crawler was actually being modified in 2015 to help launch the spacecraft that will take us to Mars. The crawler is 131 feet long, 114 feet wide and weighs over 6 million pounds and this machine basically used to transport NASA rockets from one place to another at 1 mph.
