French Open 2022: Seven Indonesian Representatives Compete Today

VIVA – The French Open 2022 badminton tournament takes place in Stade Pierre de Coubertin, Paris, enters the second day. On Wednesday, October 26, 2022, there are seven Indonesian representatives will compete in the first round.

Men's doubles Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto, who just won the inaugural BWF Super 750 title at the Denmark Open last week, will compete and struggle for the Indonesian squad. 

They will meet a representative from India, M.R. Arjun/Dhruv Kapila. The Indonesian duo has an unbreakable record of dominance in their three meetings with the 19th-ranked Indian men's doubles.

Besides Fajar/Rian, the third-ranked men's doubles Kevin Sanjaya/Marcus Gideon will also compete against Lu Ching Yao/Yang Po Han, representatives of Taiwan.

Same as Fajar/Rian, the Minions pair have a 3-0 advantage over Lu/Yang.


