VIVA – All World Superbike (WSBK) racers and Crews from 12 teams who will race at the Mandalika Circuit have arrived in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. The racers have been coming from November 3 to 9, 2022. They will prepare to take part in the eleventh series of the season, which takes place on November 11 to 13, 2022.
The managing director of the Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA), Priandhi Satria said, there are a total of 750 WSBK racers and crews present in Mandalika.
He explained the racers and crew came individually using commercial flights because the travel bubble policy and strict health protocols were no longer applied albeit during the lingering COVID-19 pandemic.

The racers used commercial airplanes to arrive at Zainuddin Abdul Madjid International Airport, Praya.
“Racers and crews arrived individually and they no longer used charter planes,” Priandhi Satria said on Wednesday, November 9, 2022.
He also added that some racers and crews have arrived before the match. They go on vacations in Bali and Lombok.
“There are some who have arrived long (before the match). They go on vacations in Bali and explore the island of Lombok. That is the reason they choose to use commercial aircraft,” Priandi explained.
Then, today, on November 10, 2022, racers will do a track wall or introduction to the track first.
