Megawati Pertiwi Selected for Korea Volleyball League All-Star Team

South Korea – The Indonesian athlete of volleyball, Megawati Hangestri Pertiwi was selected for the all-star team Korean Volleyball league and will play in a special annual event which will take place in early 2024.
Megawati is one of two Daejeon Jung KwanJang Red Sparks players who are included in the all-star team.
In addition, Megawati, another Red Sparks player who was selected to compete in the all-star event was Yeon Hye Sun.
Megawati entered the all-star team after receiving a recommendation from a team of experts, while Hye Sun was also recommended by a specialist.

Megawati competed in the all-star Korean volleyball league for the first time along with several other foreign players from Asia who played in the country of Ginseng, such as Ponpoon Guedpard from Thailand in the women's sector, as well as Battulga Bayarsaikhan from Mongolia and Ryohei Iga from Japan in the men's sector.
A total of 40 male and female players will compete in the all-star event.
The mechanism for selecting players in All-Star uses voting, but the Korean Volleyball Federation (KOVO) as the organizer stated that there were cases of voting fraud, such as the use of multiple accounts and the use of fraudulently registered accounts.
However, KOVO still recognizes the results of the poll in selecting players for all-stars. Korean female volleyball player Kim Yeon Kyung was the player with the most support, reaching 39,813 votes. This number is the largest in the men's and women's sectors.
