Christmas Holidays, Over 69.000 Vehicles Leave Jakarta Via Cikampek Toll Road

Jakarta – During the Christmas and New Year (Nataru) holidays, a total of 69,930 vehicles left Jakarta through the Cikampek Utama Toll Road to the Cipali Toll Road or the Trans Java Toll Road during the two-day implementation of Operation Lilin 2023, on December 22-23.

Based on police records, the number of vehicles leaving Jakarta through the Cikampek Utama GT occurred on Saturday, totaling 51,082 vehicles. 

Meanwhile, the number of vehicles leaving Jakarta on Friday, December 21, 2023, was 18,848 vehicles.

For vehicles entering the Jakarta area through GT Cikampek Utama on Saturday as many as 18,142 vehicles. While on Friday, there were 8,710 vehicles.

The Indonesian National Police also recorded the number of vehicles leaving Jakarta through GT Kalihurip towards Bandung on Saturday, totaling 41,503 vehicles, and on Friday as many as 16,342 vehicles. 

For vehicles entering Jakarta through GT Kalihurip, there were 29,418 vehicles on Saturday and 18,542 vehicles on Friday. 

Furthermore, vehicles leaving Jakarta through GT Ciawi towards Puncak on Saturday were 38,575 vehicles and the number of vehicles entering Jakarta was 29,418 (Saturday). 

Then from GT Cikupa towards Merak, the number of vehicles leaving Jakarta was 23,144 vehicles (Saturday) and 23,355 vehicles on Sunday. 

While vehicles entering Jakarta were 25,404 (on Saturday) and 20,512 vehicles on Friday. For vehicles leaving Jakarta through GT Merak, there were 4,115 vehicles on Saturday and 3,806 vehicles on Friday. 

Meanwhile, vehicles entering Jakarta from GT Merak were 5,357 vehicles on Saturday and 3,086 vehicles on Friday. 

"This daily report aims to provide information to the public regarding the situation of security, safety, order, and smoothness of traffic during the implementation of Operation Lilin 2023," said the Spokesperson for Operation Lilin 2023, High Commissioner of Police, Tjahyono Saputro in Jakarta, on Sunday.
